The Department of Pharmaceutics at Apex College of Pharmacy is dedicated to the science of drug design, formulation, and drug delivery systems. We focus on transforming chemical entities into safe, effective, and patient-compliant dosage forms.
Our curriculum spans across basic physical pharmaceutics to advanced novel drug delivery systems (NDDS), biopharmaceutics, and pharmacokinetics. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery simulating industrial manufacturing environments.
Equipped with 10-station rotary tablet presses, dissolution apparatus, fluid bed dryers, and advanced particle size analyzers.
Nanotechnology, targeted drug delivery, transdermal patches, and solubility enhancement techniques.
